If you have an electric water heater or a spa, hot tub or pool that uses electricity to heat water, installing
a timer on the heater that turns the heater off during on-peak is the easiest way to save on the Time-of-Use plan.
Most families have enough hot water stored in their tank to provide for normal hot water needs during the on-peak hours. Laundry
and washing dishes should be shifted to off-peak times. Heaters and pumps for indoor spas and pools should also
be timed off during on-peak hours.
