Our payment address has changed

We Energies has a new address for mailing payments effective Dec. 1.

If you pay your bill electronically through the app or our website, you do not need to make any changes.

If paying through the mail, use the bill stub and envelope that come with your bill or send payment to:

How do I update my address with my financial institution?

If you pay your bill online through your financial institution, you may need to update our payment address on their website. Here’s what to know:

  • Most financial institutions should have updated our payment address based on information provided to them.
  • You should review your We Energies “biller” contact information on your financial institution’s website. If there is an option for you to update the payment address, please do so.
    • Some financial institutions may require a nine-digit zip code. If this is the case, please use the complete zip code shown below.

What should I do if I can’t change the address?

If there is no option offered by your financial institution to update your payment address, then most likely, the address has already been updated. You should call your financial institution to confirm.

Yes, payments will be forwarded for up to 90 days.

Why did you change your payment address?

Periodically, we review third-party vendors to identify operational and cost efficiencies. As a result of this review, we made the switch to FirstTech in Glenview, Illinois.

How can I get an updated W-9 for my business?

An updated W-9 form can be requested via email at W-9FormRequest@wecenergygroup.com. You should receive the form via email within 1-3 business days of your request.
