Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.
Enrollment activation
We will send an activation link to your email address to successfully complete your enrollment in e-Bill.
Failure to activate your enrollment with a valid email address will result in the removal of your active
username and account information to date, and require you to enroll again to access your e-Bill.
Communications
By activating your account with a valid email address, you agree to receive account notices via email.
In addition, you may receive newsletters and other marketing or informational communication.
These communications are optional, and you will have the opportunity to opt out of if you do not wish to receive them.
Paper-free billing
By enrolling in e-Bill, you agree to choose the paper-free billing option. You understand and agree
that stopping your paper bill means you will no longer receive a paper copy of your
We Energies bill through the U.S. Mail. You will be able to view or
access your current monthly We Energies statement by logging in to your
bank or financial institution website and using your username and password.
We Energies periodically includes notices in billing statements, including,
but not limited to, notices that are required by law or a regulatory agency regarding changes in your
service. By selecting the paper-free billing option, you understand and agree that those notices will
be available to you only online, and can be found in your online bill in the section labeled Inserts.
Your obligation to pay the We Energies bill by the due date is not altered
or modified in any way by stopping your paper bill.
If your paper bill is scheduled to stop, you may request continuation of your paper bill at any time.
Password
We Energies respects your privacy. You understand that you have sole responsibility
for the security of your password and you are solely responsible for notifying your bank or financial institution
if your password is lost or stolen. We Energies is not liable for any actions, claims,
costs, damages or expenses arising from a lost, misplaced or stolen password.
Unauthorized use includes accessing any account without the permission of the customer of record where
We Energies is not in receipt of that permission. Businesses that are hired
by customers to review energy accounts online must ensure that We Energies
receives permission from the customer of record before account access can be authorized. Any unauthorized
access to any account will result in automatic removal from e-Bill.
To provide permission for another user to access your account online, contact us at:

When you give someone your My Account username and password, you are authorizing that person to obtain account
information and/or make changes to your account. You are responsible for all transactions that person performs
while using your username and password. All transactions that person performs, even those transactions you did
not intend or want performed, are authorized transactions. If you notify us that the person is no longer authorized,
then only transactions that person performs after the time you notify us are considered unauthorized. Transactions
that you or someone acting with you initiates with fraudulent intent are also authorized transactions. For your
protection, log off after every online session and close your browser to ensure confidentiality.
Cancellation and termination of service
You may cancel services at any time. Any such restriction or termination will not relieve any person of obligations
incurred and accrued prior to the effective date of such termination.
