We Energies natural gas customers have two different pricing structures,
depending on where they live. Look at your bill for rate class to determine
your charge.
Wisconsin Electric Gas Operations
Rg1 Rate Class
Residential bills consist of:
- Daily Facilities Charge: $0.28
- Base Rate Per Therm Energy Charge: $1.1451 per therm
- Purchased Gas Adjustment (PGA): An increase or decrease to the per therm rate ($1.1451) based on the actual cost of natural gas during a billing period. (PGA Aug. = $0.0366)
- Adjusted August Per Therm Charge: $1.1817

Residential bills consist of:
- Daily Facilities Charge: $0.28
- Base Rate Per Therm Energy Charge: $1.2279 per therm
- Purchased Gas Adjustment (PGA): An increase or decrease to the per therm rate ($1.2279) based on the actual cost of natural gas during a billing period. (PGA Aug. = -$0.0822)
- Adjusted August Per Therm Charge: $1.1457
