At the largest cogeneration facility in the nation, see first hand how a power plant operates. Tour makes stops at the turbine generator and control room to show how electricity is made.

Note: Due to security, all tours must be arranged prior to any power plant visit. Tours are scheduled subject to personnel availability and plant activites.

Wind TurbinesPublic Wind Turbine Tours
Observe how wind turbines generate electricity at the largest wind project in Wisconsin. Set on 10,600 acres, the 88 wind turbines are capable of producing 145 megawatts of electricity - enough for approximately 36,000 homes.

Location: N9470 Cty. Hwy. W, Malone, WI 53049
Tour Length: 30 min.
Time: 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Tours run about every 30 minutes.)
